STAFF FAQ

WHERE DO I STAY AT FLIP FEST?

All housing is provided for our coaching staff. You will be roomed with other staff around your same age in a state-of-the-art air-conditioned cabin. Each cabin has a mini-refrigerator, TV with HDMI connections available, private showers, and toilets.

If you are not interested in staying on the property there are Airbnb’s available close by as well as a few hotels.

HOW IS TRAVEL HANDLED FOR COACHES?

Any coach requiring a flight is responsible for their own flying travel arrangements. Airport pick-up and drop off from the Nashville (BNA) Airport is offered free of charge, as long as your flight is within the required time. As a coach, your incoming flight must arrive by 11 AM CST on Sunday, and your outbound flight must not depart before 4 PM CST on Friday to allow for adequate travel time to/from the airport. Please note that Nashville is also on Central Standard Time. If you will be booking a flight, the staff travel information form is available by emailing info@flipfest.com. This form must be returned a minimum of three weeks before your session begins. You must also receive confirmation from Flip Fest through email that it was received.

What hours will I coach each day?

Sunday’s workout and opening ceremony run from 3:00 until 5:30pm. Workouts on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, run roughly from 9:00am – 12 noon and from 3:30pm – 6:30pm, with the last hour of workout in the evening being an optional open workout. Wednesday has workout in the morning from 10am – 1pm and an optional open workout from 4pm – 6pm. Friday’s workout runs from 9am – 12 noon. All working coaches are required to attend the open workout times also. We do not require gymnastics staff to work any of the activities outside of the gym (this is your free time) however, we do encourage you to get involved in these activities with the campers as they would love it.

DO I HAVE TO BE USAG CERTIFIED TO BE A WORKING COACH?
